A digital business card for iPhone

Decide what
represents you.

The printed one says your name. The other one is you — your face, your work, every number you choose — and it is in your pocket already. Show the code, they tap once, and you are in their contacts. They install nothing.

or send the link — it is the same card

Two phones, four screens, and nothing installed on theirs.

  1. 01

    You show the code

Your card lives at one web address, and the code for it is on the card itself. Nothing to open, nothing to send, no app on the table between you.

  2. 02

    Their camera reads it

Any phone, any make, the camera they already have open. No app on their side, no account, no pairing that fails in a loud room.

  3. 03

    Your card opens

The real page, full screen: your portrait, your title, the numbers that matter and the work you are proud of. What is in the frame that comes with these words is that page, loaded live — not a picture of one.

  4. 04

One tap, and you are in

A contact written into their phone book with your photograph inside it. Six months later they still know which of the two people called Élise you were.

If you keep the printed one

What staying on paper costs you.

Nothing is wrong with a good printed card. It is simply finished the moment it is printed, and six things follow from that.

  1. Every change is a reprint.

A new number or a new title and every card already handed out is wrong, with no way to correct it. A Ravencard is updated at the same address, so the ones you gave out last year say what is true today.

  2. They forget your face.

A name and a number go into their phone, and a week later nobody remembers which one you were. Ravencard writes your photograph into their contacts with them.

  3. Your work stays at home.

A title is all a printed card has room for. Yours carries the projects that start the conversation.

  4. It runs out when it matters.

The box is empty at exactly the event you needed it for. A code on your phone does not run out.

  5. Somebody has to type it in.

Until they do, you are a piece of card in a pocket. One tap puts a Ravencard in their contacts.

  6. You never hear back.

Paper tells you nothing once it leaves your hand. Pro shows how often your code is opened.

Six surfaces. Each one shown.

A face, not a phone number

Most digital cards drop a name and a number into the address book. Ravencard embeds your portrait in the vCard, so in six months they still know who you were.

Both of these are the same person, saved from the same room.

Saved without it

The portrait travels inside the vCard itself, so the phone book shows a face.

03Projects

Your work travels with the card

Up to 10 projects, each with its own images, documents and a link you name yourself. The conversation starts at what you are building, not at your job title.

27 designs, and every one is yours to change

Editorial, photographic, graphic, action-first. Each one takes your colour, card colour, text colour, pattern and typeface while you watch the card change.

Every name in the list is a design the product ships; the three picked out in green are the ones that hand over their colour, ground, pattern and typeface.

The paper cards you collect, scanned and digitised

Scan them with the phone camera. The text is read and sorted into fields, filed as a contact, and stays searchable and filterable by tag.

Still prefer the printed one? Plenty of the people you meet will too — this is what becomes of the ones they hand you. The text is read, sorted into fields and filed as a contact you can search.

Four things worth knowing first.

Every answer below is the product’s own copy and its own limits, restated

01

Does the person I hand it to need the app?

No. Show your QR code. They scan it, tap once, and your name, title, numbers and photograph are written into their contacts. They install nothing. The card opens in whatever browser is already on their phone.

02

What happens to the paper cards I am given?

Scan them with the phone camera. The text is read and sorted into fields, filed as a contact, and stays searchable and filterable by tag. Search, tag and file the people you have scanned, and push any of them into the phone book with one tap.

03

How much of the card can I actually change?

Editorial, photographic, graphic, action-first. Each one takes your colour, card colour, text colour, pattern and typeface while you watch the card change.

04

What do I keep without paying, if I never start Pro?

One card, and everything a recipient needs to keep you. One card with your photo, title and contacts. 1 design to build it on. 3 social links. 1 project with up to 3 images. 5 paper cards scanned, in total. Save-to-contacts with your photo embedded.
